Loud. Passionate. Humble. Three words to describe New Jersey Native Edith Cruz who has taken the art of teaching dance, confidence and poise to new heights.

As a communications professional by day, Edith spends her nights fulfilling her passion – teaching and motivating others through dance. Edith helps lead a competitive modern and contemporary program at a local dance studio in Liberty, MO. Although, her latest project includes her women’s confidence building dance program in downtown Kansas City. She started this program in hopes to meet, inspire and motivate women in Kansas City to continue reaching for the stars. Edith has been featured in local Kansas City media outlets including ByDesign Magazine, KCTV5 News and more. She has danced alongside Artists including Dwayne “Money Bo” Bowe, Tamba Ali and more.

Edith enjoys expanding her dance knowledge to multiple capacities - offering her mentorship through local dance workshops in the Kansas City area. Her greatest fulfillment is being able to instill everlasting life skills to her students. Now, Edith continues to promote positivity and advocate dance as an art form.

"Her enthusiasm and energy is contagious! She is knowledgeable, precise and gives constructive feedback. I appreciate her ability to understand the specific needs of each dancer. We saw her as a true asset and valued the time she devoted to our team.”

Eva Williams, Head Dance Team at University of Central Missouri

"Both of my teams loved working with Edith! She was very high energy, kept the girls motivated, pushed them to their capacity and most importantly inspired them to be successful young women!"

Bree Stewart, Owner at Radiant Dance Studio/Head Coach of Hayden Catholic High School

"It's not just about making a dance for Edith. She creates thought-out routines for teams, while encouraging confidence and strengthening the skills of the dancers. I'm eager to work with Edith again in the future!"
